The Rouse Avenue Court has sought a response from the CBI on Yash Yadav's interim bail plea, who has sought 15 days bail to appear in the NEET UG re-examination on June 21 and attend his sister's wedding.

Special Judge Ajay Gupta granted time to the CBI to file its reply on the application moved by Yash Yadav, listing the matter for further hearing on June 12.

Earlier, the court had allowed Yash Yadav to possess books for preparation of the NEET UG examination, noting that the examination is scheduled for June 21.

The CBI has arrested several accused persons, including Shubham Khairnar, Manisha Waghmare, and others, who are currently in judicial custody following CBI interrogation.

It is alleged that Mangilal Biwal contacted Shubham Khairnar for a question paper for his son Vikas Biwal, creating a larger chain with other accused persons.
