The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET UG re-test smoothly across the country with robust security measures in place. The re-test comes weeks after the original examination was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak.
Biology was described as the easiest section, while physics was the toughest part of the paper. Aakash Institute's National Academic Director Nabin Kaarki predicted a cut-off of 590-600 marks.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed preparations for the re-examination at the NTA headquarters. The NTA facilitated a separate room and medical support for an injured student, Shrishti Dubey, who underwent major vascular surgery and intensive treatment.
More than 22 lakh aspirants are currently sitting for the re-examination. The NTA has put in place extensive security and monitoring measures to ensure the test is conducted smoothly and fairly.
The re-test comes amid controversy and protests following the original examination. The NTA has made comprehensive arrangements for the fair, secure, and candidate-friendly conduct of the test.
