The Centre has released the 23rd installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme, providing financial assistance to over 9.44 crore eligible farmers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi transferred ₹2,000 directly into the bank accounts of beneficiaries during an event in West Bengal.
The government disbursed ₹18,880 crore through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), crediting ₹2,000 into eligible farmers' accounts.
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, eligible farmer families receive ₹6,000 annually, paid in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.
Farmers can check their payment details, eligibility status, Aadhaar linkage, land seeding information, and e-KYC status using the 'Know Your Status' feature on the PM-KISAN portal.
To check the status, follow these steps: visit pmkisan.gov.in, click on 'Farmer's Corner' and select 'Know Your Status', enter registration number and security code, and enter OTP to view payment and beneficiary status.
Self-registered and CSC farmers can also verify their details online by visiting pmkisan.gov.in, clicking on 'Status of Self Registered Farmer/CSC Farmers', and entering Aadhaar number and security code.
To check the PM Kisan beneficiary list, visit the PM-KISAN portal, click on 'Beneficiary List', select state, district, sub-district, block, and village, and click on 'Get Report' to view the list of beneficiaries for the selected village.
