Prime Minister Narendra Modi will undertake an official visit to France and Slovakia from June 13-18, marking a significant milestone in India's diplomatic ties with the two nations. The visit, at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, will see the Prime Minister participate in the G7 Summit in Evian, France, and engage in bilateral meetings with world leaders.
During his visit to France, the Prime Minister will review the full spectrum of India-France bilateral relations, which were elevated to the level of a Special Global Strategic Partnership earlier this year. He will also jointly inaugurate the 'Bharat Innovates' event, which aims to strengthen the innovation partnership between the two nations.
In Slovakia, the Prime Minister will hold talks with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and explore new avenues of cooperation, reaffirming India's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations across sectors including trade, investment, automobile manufacturing, and railway cooperation.
The visit is expected to further deepen India's partnership with France, Slovakia, and the G7, and spotlight India as a global hub for innovation, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship.
