Russian President Vladimir Putin's aircraft has set a new record for the most tracked flight in real-time, with 1,772 people following its journey to India on Flight Radar 24. The flight, which landed in Delhi on Thursday evening, was marked by a warm welcome from PM Narendra Modi, who received Putin with a hug at the Palam Airport. Putin's visit to India is centered around the 23rd Annual India-Russia Summit, where he and Modi will discuss deepening defense ties, trade, and energy cooperation. The two leaders also touched on the topic of Russia's fuel exports, with Putin suggesting that India should have the same privilege as the US. During his visit, Putin will also attend a private dinner hosted by PM Modi at Lok Kalyan Marg, followed by a meeting at the Hyderabad House on Friday. In preparation for the summit, the Delhi Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory, urging commuters to avoid key routes between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon. Putin's trip marks his first visit to India in four years, after his last visit in 2021. The summit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.
