MP Shatrughan Sinha expressed his unwavering support for Mamata Banerjee, rejecting claims of shifting out of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) amid reports of fractures within the party.
He referred to Mamata Banerjee as a 'mature, tried, tested and successful leader' and stated that holding '41% of the vote' was no easy feat.
Sinha questioned why party colleagues had chosen to exit at a vulnerable moment in the party's legacy and labelled 'greed, fear or the pressure of agencies' as possible reasons.
He reaffirmed his support for Mamata Banerjee, stating 'I have only one leader, and that is Mamata Banerjee. Mamata Banerjee and only Mamata Banerjee.'
