DMK chief MK Stalin questioned the stability of the TVK government, saying public discussions had begun over whether it could survive even three months in office.

Stalin made the comments while welcoming Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi MLA Paniyur Babu into the DMK.

He said the party had initially decided not to criticise the new government for six months after it assumed office but developments had emerged that warranted discussion.

Stalin also praised Paniyur Babu's performance in the assembly and commended his statement explaining his reasons for switching sides.
