The Karnataka CID is probing Sunny Leone's involvement in a ₹2,400-crore investment fraud case. The CID sought information from the actor about payments linked to her appearance in a film produced by the scheme's key accused.
Leone was paid ₹1 crore to perform in the song 'Dingara Billi Naanu' in the 2023 Kannada movie Champion, produced by Shivanand Neelannavar, the accused promoter.
