Telangana Rising Global Summit: Nobel Laureates, Industry Leaders to Convene in Hyderabad

The Telangana government is set to host the 'Telangana Rising Global Summit' on December 8 and 9, featuring an impressive lineup of speakers, including Nobel laureates Abhijit Banerjee and Kailash Satyarthi, Biocon chief Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, and Eric Swider from the Trump Media and Technology Group. The event aims to position Telangana as a key investment destination and innovation hub, with a focus on transformative growth, technology, and innovation. Over 2,500 participants from 42 countries have registered for the summit, which will feature 27 specialized sessions covering various sectors, including IT, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and energy. The event will also showcase the state's vision for future development, as outlined in the 'Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document'. This document outlines a roadmap to achieve a $3 trillion economy by 2047 and includes comprehensive plans for investments, technology partnerships, and innovations across all sectors. The summit's inaugural ceremony will be inaugurated by Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at 1 PM on December 8. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has assured that alternative arrangements will be made if any challenges arise due to ongoing airline connectivity issues, and special flights will be arranged for important dignitaries if needed. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has inspected the venue and directed officials to make arrangements befitting the Global Summit, including the installation of a statue of 'Telangana Thalli' at the venue. The Telangana government is optimistic about the summit's success, which will demonstrate the state's potential as a hub for innovation and investment. The event is expected to attract significant attention from global leaders and industry professionals, further solidifying Telangana's position on the world stage.
