LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh's tiger reserves have been extended by 15 days, allowing tourists to continue safaris until June 30. The decision was made due to the delayed monsoon, creating a favorable window for tourism activities.

The current tourism season, which began on November 1, 2025, will now run for a total of eight months. The extended period will allow over 90,000 tourists to visit the Dudhwa, Pilibhit, Amangarh, and Ranipur Tiger Reserves.

Forest officials have stated that all visitor facilities and safari operations will continue during the extended period. However, they have warned that safari operations may be restricted if heavy rainfall begins earlier than expected.
