Uttarakhand Gangster Vinay Tyagi Gunned Down Outside Court, 2 Accused Arrested

Gangster Vinay Tyagi, who faced over 50 criminal cases in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, succumbed to his injuries at Rishikesh's All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Saturday. He was shot multiple times by two assailants on a motorcycle while being taken to court in Laksar, Uttarakhand. The police have arrested two suspects, Sunny Yadav alias Shera and Ajay Saini, who allegedly carried out the attack over a financial dispute. According to the police, Yadav had been tracking Tyagi's movements and had been demanding repayment of money. The two assailants ambushed the police vehicle carrying Tyagi, firing multiple rounds from close range. Two police personnel accompanying Tyagi were also injured in the attack. An investigation into the matter has been ordered, and three police personnel have been suspended for alleged dereliction of duty. The police superintendent has assured stern action if negligence is established.
