A fan who crashed the court in San Antonio to take a selfie with Spurs star Victor Wembanyama during game one of the NBA Finals has been banned for life from all league arenas.
The individual, who was a juvenile and had their name withheld, was arrested and charged with intentionally interfering with a lawful gathering and criminal trespass.
A second individual also received a lifetime ban for their role in the incident, which briefly halted play midway through the fourth quarter of the New York Knicks' game one triumph.
Wembanyama admitted he was surprised by the situation, while Spurs coach Mitch Johnson downplayed the incident, saying security handled it quickly.
