The Green Bay Packers suffered a devastating blow during Sunday's road game against the Denver Broncos, as star defensive player Micah Parsons and wide receiver Christian Watson both left the game early. Initial reports suggest that Parsons' injury, which occurred in the third quarter, may be a torn ACL, a season-ending diagnosis. Parsons, a two-time All-Pro, suffered a non-contact injury to his left knee while chasing down Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. He was helped off the field by trainers and taken to the locker room, with the Packers listing him as questionable before ruling him out for the remainder of the game. The injury comes at a critical time for the Packers' defense, which had been counting on Parsons' 12.5 sacks this season. Acquired from the Dallas Cowboys in a blockbuster trade, Parsons had been one of the league's top pass rushers. Two medical experts, Sports Medicine doctor Brian Sutterer and physician Jesse Morse, have offered their opinions on Parsons' injury. Sutterer tweeted that he 'pretty sure' Parsons had torn his ACL, while Morse expressed 'significant concerns' for an ACL tear based on the angle of Parsons' last step. In addition to Parsons' injury, the Packers also lost Watson to a chest injury in the third quarter. Watson, who had been recovering from a torn ACL suffered last year, was ruled out for the rest of the game. The Packers are yet to issue an official statement on the severity of Parsons' injury, but the suspected season-ending diagnosis will undoubtedly impact the team's chances in the remainder of the season.
