Mirra Andreeva has made history by becoming the first Russian woman to win a Grand Slam title since 2014, claiming the 2026 French Open women's singles championship.

The 19-year-old No. 8 seed defeated Poland's Maja Chwalińska with a score of 6–3, 6–2 in the final, becoming the first teenager to win a Grand Slam since Coco Gauff in 2023.
