A 23-year-old Hindu farmer was fatally shot in Pakistan's Sindh province after allegedly building a shelter on his landlord's land. Kelash Kohli's murder sparked widespread protests by the Hindu community, leading to the arrest of landlord Sarfaraz Nizamani and his accomplice, Zafarullah Khan. The police apprehended them from Hyderabad after a special team was formed following Kohli's death on January 4. Kohli's brother filed a complaint, and local welfare trust leader Shiva Kaachi hailed the arrest as a result of community pressure. Kaachi emphasized the need for a fair trial to restore the Hindu community's faith in the authorities and ensure their safety from similar crimes.
