US President Donald Trump has faced renewed scrutiny over his health, with reports highlighting bruising on his hands and episodes of swollen ankles. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Trump, 79, dismissed concerns, stating his health is 'perfect.' He attributed the bruising to daily aspirin use, saying he takes it to thin his blood. Trump also denied falling asleep in public, attributing instances of dozing off to 'moments of relaxation.'
When asked about his recent MRI, Trump clarified that he had undergone a CT scan in October. A CT scan is a faster imaging procedure, whereas an MRI is typically used for soft tissue examination. Trump has faced criticism for his sedentary lifestyle, which includes limited exercise and a diet high in fast food. His comments come as a reminder of his past attacks on former President Joe Biden, whom he repeatedly referred to as 'Sleepy Joe.' Trump's health has been a topic of discussion, especially given his age and the demands of the presidency.
