Tim Cook is stepping down as Apple's CEO after 14 years, handing the reins to John Ternus, the brains behind Apple's most exciting products. Ternus has an engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania and has been with Apple since 2001. He oversaw the Apple Silicon efforts, which marked a monumental transition from Intel processors to Apple's own M-series chips. Ternus also saw through Cook's vision with the entire AirPods line-up and was instrumental in getting the original iPad out into the world.

Meanwhile, Snap Inc.'s smart glasses are on the horizon, with CEO Evan Spiegel stating that Meta's partnership with Luxottica is 'much more harmful for Luxottica than it is for Meta.' This comes as a response to Meta's reputation preceding its products, including the Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses.

The platform has seen tremendous traction, with over 265 million monthly active users and more than 31 million paying subscribers. Canva has reported $4 billion in annualised revenue, with a 101% uptick in customer spends year on year.
