With 17 nominations and no wins, American songwriter Diane Warren continues to break records at the Oscars. Despite losing to Ejae, 24, Ido and Teddy Park for their song Golden from KPop Demon Hunters, Warren remains optimistic and vows to return to the stage. This is her ninth consecutive nomination in the Best Original Song category and her 17th overall. Warren has written nine number-one songs and 33 top-10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, making her one of the most successful songwriters in history. She was awarded an honorary Academy Award in 2022, but has yet to win a competitive Oscar.
