Actor Vinod Suryavanshi, known for his role in Panchayat, recently spoke about facing extreme poverty and caste discrimination while growing up in Karnataka.
He revealed that in his native village, the caste divide still exists, with separate areas for upper and lower castes, and a temple where Dalits are not allowed to enter.
Vinod also shared his experience of growing up in extreme poverty, where his family couldn't celebrate festivals like others, and he had to do odd jobs, including working as a watchman, to make ends meet.
The actor's journey from struggling to find work to landing prominent roles in films like Joly LLB 3 and Thamma is a testament to his perseverance and talent.
