Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge has maintained its box office momentum despite fresh competition, collecting ₹1.70 crore net in India on Wednesday. The film's domestic total now stands at ₹1,121.09 crore net, according to trade website Sacnilk.
The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has collected ₹1.62 crore on Monday and ₹2.10 crore on Tuesday. It made ₹2.70 crore on Friday and ₹4.65 crore and ₹5.20 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Dhurandhar 2 was released in theatres on March 19 and has collected ₹674.17 crore in its first week, ₹263.65 crore in its second, ₹110.60 crore in its third week, and ₹54.70 crore in its fourth.
The film, starring Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan, follows an undercover operation in Lyari, Pakistan, with an Indian spy infiltrating a Baloch gang to take down a terror network.
Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has praised the film, stating that it has revived the film industry and given a new hope. She also suggested a spin-off film on R Madhavan's character.
