An unidentified body was found floating in a pond at a Phoenix golf course on Thursday morning, drawing fresh attention to the unsolved disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing from nearby Tucson since February.
The Phoenix Fire Department said first responders were called to the area of 32nd Street and Camelback Road around 9am local time after reports of a person found in the water.
Police told ABC15 that based on initial information, there are no obvious signs of foul play.
The victim has not been identified yet.
Nancy Guthrie, 84, the mother of Today show anchor Savannah Guthrie was reported missing on February 1, 2026.
Authorities believe she was abducted from her home in Tucson, Arizona in the early morning hours of that day or the night before.
The Guthrie family is offering a $1 million reward for information, and the FBI is separately advertising a $100,000 reward.
