A prominent Orthodox Jewish news website, Yeshiva World News, was hacked in what appears to be an Iran-linked cyberattack.

Pro-Iranian imagery and messages briefly took over the site before it was restored.

The website displayed a message in Farsi saying, 'Now we are under their control. The Zionists are handcuffed.'

An image of Ruhollah Khomeini and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei with Mojtaba Khamenei, along with symbols linked to the Iranian regime, was also shown.

No group has publicly claimed responsibility for the attack.

The website was back under control by 2pm ET, showing a message saying, 'we will be back shortly.'

This attack comes amid growing concerns about Iran-linked cyberattacks on Western targets.

A recent cyberattack on Stryker, a major medical technology company, was linked to an Iran-backed hacker group called Handala.

Experts warn that this may be the beginning of a larger pattern of cyberattacks.
