Iran's envoy in Russia has refuted claims that the country's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is receiving medical treatment in Moscow.

The report, published by a Kuwaiti newspaper, claimed that Khamenei was taken to Moscow on a Russian plane for treatment due to the ongoing strikes in Iran.

However, Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, denied the report, saying that there was no truth to the claims.

Russia's Kremlin has also refused to comment on the report, saying that they do not comment on such reports.

Meanwhile, Khamenei has taken a tough stance on revenge against the US and Israel, despite being presented with proposals to reduce tensions or a ceasefire.
