Amaravati, The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has issued a warning of severe heatwave conditions in 30 mandals across the state.
Severe heatwave conditions are expected in districts such as Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram Manyam, Alluri Sitarama Raju, and Polavaram, while heatwave conditions are predicted in 55 mandals across multiple districts.
According to the SDMA, maximum temperatures ranging between 43 degrees Celsius and 44.5 degrees Celsius are likely in Parvathipuram Manyam, Palnadu, Prakasam, Markapuram, Nellore, and Rayalaseema regions.
The SDMA has advised people to take precautions, avoid prolonged exposure to heat, and stay hydrated by consuming water, lemon water, buttermilk, and coconut water.
