Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport has issued a passenger advisory due to the cancellation of IndiGo flights to Delhi and Mumbai on December 5. The cancellations are in effect until 11:59 pm. Passengers traveling to other destinations are advised to check their flight status directly with the airline to avoid inconvenience. The airport is working closely with IndiGo and other operational partners to minimize disruptions and support passengers. In a separate incident, a woman named Namita was left stranded at the airport after her flight to Delhi was canceled without prior notice. She was traveling to Haridwar for her father's asthi visarjan and faced difficulties in reaching her destination. The ongoing IndiGo flight disruptions have resulted in over 1,000 canceled flights since Tuesday, with many more delayed across several airports in India. In response, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has withdrawn pilot rest norms, including improved duty hours and leave policy. Passengers are advised to check their flight status regularly and plan accordingly.
