Former Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai will address speculation over his next move on Friday. Annamalai, a former IPS official, rose to fame after joining the BJP in 2020 and was made state president the following year.
He will clarify speculation over his resignation from the BJP to launch his own outfit during an interaction on social media on Friday.
Ammalai met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in Delhi on June 2, coinciding with his visit to the city.
His supporters have put up posters in Chennai and Coimbatore hailing him as a leader and 'Fearless mind', with some backing a plan to launch a new movement.
