The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached four luxury vehicles, including a Lamborghini and a Mercedes-Benz, linked to 25-year-old fantasy cricket influencer Anurag Dwivedi. The ED's move comes as part of an investigation into Dwivedi's alleged ties to online betting and gambling platforms. Dwivedi, who commands a massive following online with 7 million YouTube subscribers and 2.4 million Instagram followers, has been accused of using his popularity to promote online betting sites that allegedly target young people and launder money through complex banking channels. The ED's action follows extensive searches at multiple locations in Unnao, including Dwivedi's residence and that of his uncle. Investigators seized bank records, property documents, and digital devices, but have not disclosed further details. The probe is based on FIRs registered by state police and cybercrime units against operators of illegal betting platforms. The ED alleges that Dwivedi's financial rise, which began around 2017-18, coincided with his entry into fantasy sports content creation and his alleged connections to betting networks. Dwivedi's extravagant lifestyle, featuring luxury cars and foreign travel, has been under scrutiny since his high-profile wedding in Dubai earlier this month. The ED is now scrutinizing his foreign transactions and alleged investments abroad to determine the source of funds linked to online gaming and betting activities. This is not Dwivedi's first brush with controversy. In 2024, he claimed to have received extortion threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and in 2025, an SUV linked to him was allegedly involved in an assault case in Unnao. The attached vehicles will remain in ED custody pending adjudication under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Dwivedi has not responded to queries seeking his comment on the allegations.
