An Indian Army jawan lost his life after accidentally slipping from a rock during Operation Sheruwali in Rajouri district, J&K.
The soldier was moving through rugged terrain when he lost his footing and fell, sustaining serious injuries.
He was immediately evacuated but later succumbed to his injuries.
Operation Sheruwali, in its 16th day, continues in the dense forests and difficult terrain of Gambhir Mughlan and Dorimal areas.
The operation aims to trap suspected terrorists within designated zones while search teams intensify their operations.
