Actor Jacqueline Fernandez has moved an application to turn approver in the money laundering case against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will now record her statement and decide whether to make her an approver in the case.
Fernandez was accused of being in possession of proceeds of crime worth over ₹7 crore, gifted by Chandrashekhar.
She had earlier claimed to be misled by Chandrashekhar, who is currently lodged in jail, and accused him of attempting to damage her image.
