Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut has expressed her views on the dress code of nurses, suggesting that the current uniform should be 'Indianised' to reflect the preferences and comfort of nurses themselves.

In an exclusive interview, Kangana stated that while doctors have flexibility in their professional attire, nurses continue to follow a uniform design that carries a 'foreign look.' She attributed this to historical influences, including elements such as caps, pins, and belts that have remained largely unchanged over time.

Kangana also emphasized the importance of introducing reforms based on the nurses' own choices and requirements, saying that if the uniform is 'Indianised' according to their preferences, it will be a positive change.

The actress, who will be seen in 'Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata,' a film that highlights the indispensable role played by healthcare workers and support staff, believes that the current uniform should be updated to reflect Indian culture and values.
