AAP MP Raghav Chadha took a dig at his own party, with which he's had a very public falling out recently, as he rose to speak in the Rajya Sabha on Friday.

Chadha, who was recently removed as the deputy leader of the party, congratulated Harivansh Narayan Singh for being re-elected as the deputy chairperson of the Upper House of Parliament.

He also praised the RS chairperson, Vice President of India CP Radhakrishnan, saying that he has given more time to members to speak since he became chairperson.

Chadha's jibe at his own party comes after he was stripped of his post, blocked from speaking in Parliament from the party's quota, and accused by his own colleagues of being "compromised" and in league with the Centre's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Chadha has denied each allegation, saying that the AAP attack on him is "scripted" and that he has always supported the Opposition.
