Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has suspended Nida Khan, the alleged mastermind in a harassment case at its Nashik facility. In a letter, TCS stated that Khan was being placed under suspension with immediate effect due to a serious matter reported against her.
The letter directed Khan not to report to any office and not to contact any employees regarding the matter. Khan's access to the TCS network was also temporarily revoked.
Khan is among eight employees accused of alleged rape, sexual harassment, religious coercion, and other forms of harassment at the Nashik BPO. Seven of the accused are under arrest, while Khan is said to be absconding.
TCS clarified that Khan was not a HR manager and did not hold any leadership responsibilities. Khan's family has rejected the claims, stating that she is in Mumbai and expecting her first child.
