The conflict in West Asia has entered its seventh day, with US-Israel pounding Iran's capital Tehran and other cities, as well as parts of Lebanon. Iran has retaliated with strikes on Gulf countries, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

Former R&AW Chief Vikram Sood has warned that the war between US-Israel and Iran may last longer than anticipated, citing the Iranians' willingness to die in the conflict.

Sood stated that Iranians are "willing to die" in the war, while Americans "are not willing to die." He also noted that Iranians are playing a "different game" by targeting America's allies, creating unrest among them against America.

Iranian deputy foreign minister Saeed Khatibzadeh has framed the conflict as a "very heroic, very nationalistic battle" for Iran, urging forces to put up "ultimate resistance" against the aggressor.
