Former US President Bill Clinton has expressed concern over the selective release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein's case by the Department of Justice (DOJ). Clinton's spokesperson alleged that the DOJ may be 'protecting someone' by releasing only certain files, rather than the full record. According to the spokesperson, the released documents feature Clinton prominently, including photos of him with Epstein and other women. The remaining files, which are expected to be released in the coming days, may contain additional information about Clinton's association with Epstein. Clinton has maintained that he cut ties with Epstein in the early 2000s, long before Epstein's crimes became public. He has not been accused or charged in connection with Epstein's case. The DOJ has set a deadline of November 19, 2025, to release all remaining documents under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. However, it appears that the deadline may not have been met, sparking Clinton's call for full disclosure. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has assured that the remaining documents will be released in the coming days. The public remains uncertain about what the unreleased files may contain and why they were not made available.
