Candace Owens Fires Back at TPUSA, Accuses Erika Kirk of Orchestrating Livestream
Candace Owens and TPUSA's Blake Neff have been embroiled in an online row over the scheduling of a livestream to address allegations in Charlie Kirk's killing.
Conservative Podcaster Candace Owens has escalated her feud with Turning Point USA (TPUSA) by targeting the organization's CEO, Erika Kirk. Owens accused Kirk of approving a livestream that she claimed was aimed at addressing her allegations about the death of TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk.
In a recent podcast episode, Owens claimed that she had initially agreed to participate in the livestream, but TPUSA's scheduling demands were 'untenable' due to her own podcast commitments. However, she later suggested that her team livestream TPUSA's event and provide commentary, which was met with criticism from some quarters.
Owens' attack on Erika Kirk came after TPUSA member Blake Neff defended the organization's handling of the livestream, stating that it was not a traditional booking of a guest. Neff clarified that the livestream was a response to Owens' 'escalating harassment and lies' about Charlie Kirk's death.
Erika Kirk has yet to respond to Owens' allegations. The feud between Owens and TPUSA has been ongoing since September, when Owens accused the organization of 'betraying' its founder. The situation took a dramatic turn on December 5, when Owens launched her attack on Kirk on social media, asking if she had approved a letter that was read during the livestream.
The controversy surrounding the livestream has sparked intense debate within the conservative community, with some accusing Owens of being vindictive and others defending her right to free speech. As the situation continues to unfold, one thing is clear: the feud between Owens and TPUSA shows no signs of abating.
