This incident comes on the heels of a previous outage caused by a Cloudflare disruption last month. The cybersecurity firm's network experienced a large-scale issue due to an automated configuration file designed to address potential security risks. Despite this recent outage, ChatGPT continues to experience significant growth. Over one million organizations, including major brands like Walmart and Target, now use OpenAI's technology for both internal and customer-facing services. The company earns revenue through paid plans, but the free option remains popular. In a bid to challenge Google's dominance, OpenAI recently launched its own web browser, Atlas. Additionally, the company made its ChatGPT Go plan free in India for a year, offering users advanced tools at no cost.
