Renowned director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele were brutally murdered at their Los Angeles mansion on Sunday. Their 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, has been arrested and charged with their deaths. According to authorities, Nick was taken into custody on Sunday night after law enforcement discovered the bodies of his parents, who were found with their throats slit. The Los Angeles Fire Department was summoned to the Brentwood residence at 3:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a medical emergency. Paramedics declared both victims dead at the scene. The LAPD's Robbery-Homicide Division is leading the investigation, with Nick being held on a $4 million bail. Nick has a history of struggling with drug addiction, having spoken publicly about his experiences and periods of homelessness. He co-wrote the semi-autobiographical film 'Being Charlie' with his father, who directed the 2015 movie. The family's daughter, Romy, initially reported the incident, suspecting a family member may be involved. The street outside the Reiners' residence has been closed since Sunday afternoon, with investigators conducting a thorough search of the property.
