Pakistan General Slams Imran Khan for 'Delusional' Attack on Armed Forces
Describing him as a "narcissistic" and "mentally sick” person, Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations warned Imran Khan, who is in jail | World News
A top Pakistani general has launched a scathing attack on jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan, accusing him of orchestrating a well-planned media campaign against the armed forces. Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, described Khan as 'narcissistic' and 'mentally sick,' warning that such acts would no longer be tolerated.
Chaudhry, speaking to the media, said Khan's ego and frustrations have reached a point where he thinks he's above the law and the state of Pakistan. The general emphasized that the army will not hesitate to take action against those who attack the armed forces, citing the example of anti-army narratives pushed by PTI and its jailed leader.
The army spokesperson highlighted the military's efforts against militancy, including over 13,217 intelligence-based operations in 2025, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,943 terrorists. He stressed that talks with terrorists, including Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan and the Balochistan Liberation Army, will not be entertained.
Chaudhry questioned the motives behind Khan's alleged attempts to harm the army and create differences between the people and the armed forces, hinting at possible external involvement. The general assured that the army and the people of Pakistan will not be fooled by such tactics, and those responsible will face consequences.
