White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles has confirmed that President Donald Trump's name appears in the Epstein files. In an extensive interview with Vanity Fair, Wiles stated that Trump and late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein were 'young, single playboys together.' The comments come as the Epstein scandal is reexamined following his death in prison in 2019. Wiles, a Trump loyalist, also expressed her disappointment with Attorney General Pam Bondi's handling of the Department of Justice's inquiry into Epstein's crimes. She revealed that she had underestimated the significance of the scandal, despite Trump's previous associations with Epstein. The White House chief of staff also acknowledged that Trump's name is listed in the flight logs of Epstein's private aircraft, known as the Lolita Express. The two were spotted together on multiple occasions, including in 1992 and 2000, and were members of the same social circles in Palm Beach and New York. Wiles' comments have sparked renewed interest in the Epstein scandal, which has been the subject of intense scrutiny in recent years. The sex offender's connections to powerful men, including Trump, have raised questions about his involvement in potential crimes. In a statement, Wiles clarified that Trump's name is mentioned in the Epstein files but not in connection with any wrongdoing. However, her comments have been met with skepticism by some, who see them as an attempt to downplay Trump's association with Epstein.
