Actor Aamir Khan has spoken about his son Junaid's independent nature, saying he doesn't consult him about his film projects. Speaking with Variety India, Aamir praised Junaid's 'sharp sense of cinema' and 'strong-willed' personality.
Aamir revealed that Junaid makes his own decisions about signing films, including a project with Ektaa Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms. He also spoke about Junaid's upcoming film Ek Din, a love story that has been partly filmed in Japan.
When asked if Ek Din is similar to Saiyaara, Aamir laughed and denied the comparison, saying the film is 'completely different'. Ek Din is set to release in theatres on May 1 and will be Junaid's third major project in a leading role.
