Alia Bhatt and Sharvari's highly anticipated film Alpha has been given a new release date to avoid a box-office clash with Salman Khan's Battle of Galwan. The film, directed by Shiv Rawail, was initially scheduled to release on April 17, 2026, but it has now been pushed to July 10, 2026.

The makers of the film have confirmed that Alpha will arrive in cinemas, putting an end to rumors that it might skip a theatrical release and premiere directly on an OTT platform.

Alpha is the sixth film in the YRF Spy Universe and is touted as the first female-led spy thriller from YRF. The film also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, apart from Alia and Sharvari.

Alia Bhatt had earlier acknowledged the risks involved in leading an action film in a franchise traditionally dominated by male protagonists.
