In an interview with Harper's Bazaar India, Ananya shared that she used to want her partner to shine more than her, even if it meant putting herself down or becoming less of herself.
Ananya dated Ishaan Khatter and Aditya Roy Kapur in the past, but the two relationships ended in breakups. She is now rumoured to be dating former model Walker Blanco, although neither of them has confirmed the relationship.
