Dhurandhar 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the Indian spy thriller, is generating immense buzz with paid preview shows scheduled for March 18. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, will be shown on around 5000 screens across India.
The paid previews, priced at an average of ₹417 for the Hindi version, have sold over 3 lakh tickets, grossing ₹16 crore domestically. Overseas, the film has amassed over $700K in North America and is expected to exceed $2 million by the weekend.
The sequel, which also stars R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun, is expected to repeat the success of its predecessor, which earned ₹1300 crore worldwide.
