Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar is set to re-release in theaters on March 12 and 13, ahead of the release of Dhurandhar 2. The film will be re-released on approximately 500 screens worldwide, including 250 screens in India and 250 overseas.
The re-release comes ahead of the highly anticipated release of Dhurandhar The Revenge on March 19, which will clash with Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Dhurandhar The Revenge will host special Wednesday premiere shows across the USA and Canada on March 18.
Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is a spy action thriller that tells the story of an Indian spy infiltrating Karachi's criminal and political underworld in Pakistan. The film collected over ₹1300 crore worldwide and became the first Bollywood film to cross ₹1000 crore at the domestic box office.
Advance bookings for Dhurandhar 2 have surged in the US and Canada, with the film raking in over $750K for premiere shows alone and $2 million for the opening weekend. In India, the film has sold over 3.5 lakh tickets, grossing ₹19 crore.
