The inheritance dispute surrounding late businessman Sunjay Kapur's estate has taken another turn. Mandhira Kapur Smith, Sunjay's sister, has filed a reply to the defamation complaint filed by Priya Kapur.
Priya Kapur had filed a criminal defamation complaint against Mandhira and another individual for public attacks against her on digital platforms.
Mandhira appeared before the Patiala House Court and filed her reply, along with an application seeking directions for the production of certain documents from Priya.
The court listed the matter for further hearing and arguments on March 30.
The dispute revolves around Sunjay's estate, with Priya claiming that she is the rightful heir. However, Sunjay's children from his previous marriage, Samaira and Kiaan, have challenged Priya's claim, stating that they were not aware of the actual worth of Sunjay's assets.
