Hyderabad, a city known for its IT hub and growing cinema industry, is now set to become a hub for Hollywood productions. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed his desire to marry tech and cinema, allowing the city to become a home for even Hollywood productions.

At the launch of a state-of-the-art VFX studio in the city, the CM said that this is just the beginning. The studio, Eyeline Studios, is the innovation hub of streaming giant Netflix and has been instrumental in creating VFX for some of Netflix's biggest projects.

The CM pitched Hyderabad as a hub for innovation in films, inviting Netflix to set up a bigger facility in the 'Bharat Future City' being developed by the state government. The 32,000-square-foot facility features state-of-the-art technology for advanced visual effects and generative virtual effects, supported by a hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos highlighted Eyeline Studios' work, saying they have been "absolutely world-class" in their projects, including Happy Gilmore 2, Wednesday, and Stranger Things.
