Varun Dhawan's upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has been rescheduled to avoid a box office clash with Yash's Toxic: A FairyTale for GrownUps. Initially set to release on June 5, the film will now hit theaters on June 12. The decision was made after the makers of Yash's film postponed their release date from March 19 to June 4.
The official statement from the makers, shared on Instagram, read, 'We strongly believe that it is always healthier for the industry when filmmakers support one another rather than compete unnecessarily on the same date.' The romantic comedy, directed by David Dhawan, features Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde in lead roles.
