LOS ANGELES — A 35-year-old woman was taken into custody after firing multiple gunshots outside Rihanna's gated home in the Beverly Hills area, according to authorities. The singer was not at home when the shooting occurred, and no one was injured.
Police received a call about shots fired at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday and took the suspect into custody 'without further incident.' A weapon was recovered, and the suspect has been booked on suspicion of attempted murder with a $10 million bail.
The district attorney has not yet announced charges. The connection between the suspect and Rihanna is unknown, but the property is owned by a trust run by Evan Jehle, a member of Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation advisory board.
