Veteran actor Zeenat Aman shared a nostalgic video from her 1979 film The Great Gambler, featuring her dancing in a red outfit. The song, Oh Diwano Dil Samhalo, was sung by legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle and captures the confidence and sass of a woman who knows her desirability.
Zeenat recalled her dancing days and said that the romantic number Do Lafzon Ki Hai Dil Ki Kahani became the most widely loved song among audiences. She revealed that dancing was never her strongest suit in her film career, as she never received formal dance training.
Unlike many of her contemporaries, Zeenat said that directors sometimes found it challenging to coax complicated choreography out of her. However, she could 'groove' and many a director realised it's better to leave her to her own swaying device than frustrate themselves trying to coax complicated choreography out of her.
Zeenat is set to appear in the upcoming film Bun Tikki, produced by Manish Malhotra's production banner Stage5 Productions, alongside Shabana Azmi and Abhay Deol.
