The Green Bay Packers have parted ways with two-time Pro-Bowl OL Elgton Jenkins, who will now enter free agency. Jenkins has attracted interest from the Baltimore Ravens, who are searching for a replacement at center.

Jenkins celebrated the Packers' moves on social media, but has yet to react to his own release. The decision to part ways with Jenkins was influenced by the financial implications of his contract, which carried a $24.8 million cap hit for the upcoming season.

Elgton has appeared in 87 games with 85 starts since entering the league, with the majority of his experience coming at left guard. However, he struggled at the new position after the Packers brought in Aaron Banks last season.

The Packers re-signed Sean Rhyan to a three-year, $33 million extension, making him the new starting center in 2026. Jenkins' season-ending injury in November led to Rhyan's promotion to center.
